An initial, in-depth nutrition evaluation will be completed to collect pertinent medical information and to identify treatment goals. Follow-up sessions are strongly encouraged to sustain individual progress. Topics of discussion may include: normalizing eating struggles, meal planning, identifying hunger/fullness cues, decreasing disordered behaviors, and identifying food misinformation.
Both in-person and virtual nutrition sessions are available through Inspire. If possible, an in-person initial assessment is recommended for a more personalized experience. However, both assessments and follow-up sessions are possible to complete virtually, regardless of where you live in the country!
Initial Assessment: 60 minutes
Follow-up Sessions: 40 minutes
Session times can be extended if requested for an additional cost
Nutrition groups are facilitated throughout the year and are typically run for 6-8 week cycles. If you are interested in attending nutrition groups, please inquire on the "Contact" page.
At this time, we do not accept insurance. At your initial session, a credit or debit card will be charged and kept on file for future sessions. A sliding scale is available for those with financial need. A detailed receipt can be requested for possible reimbursement from your insurance company.
In addition to nutrition counseling, individual therapy is typically recommended for those struggling with related issues such as body image, self-esteem, emotion regulation etc. Treatment for other mental health issues, psychiatric care, and medical appointments are often also encouraged to promote complete healing.
